Research Philosophy

My research is driven by the conviction that the next generation of structural systems will not come from a single material class, but from the atomistic integration of distinct material families.

I believe in a "microstructure-by-design" approach, where we tailor interfaces at the nanoscale to solve macro-scale challenges in nuclear and aerospace engineering. By bridging the gap between 2D MXenes and traditional bulk ceramics, we can unlock properties previously thought mutually exclusive.
